Jaskiran Nanda

VP, Communications and Marketing

Jaskiran is currently enrolled in the Master of Business Administration co-op program at McMaster University’s DeGroote School of Business. Most recently, Jaskiran had the opportunity to work as a Quality Associate at Trillium Health Partners; here she worked alongside an excellent team to support and implement quality initiatives across the organization.

While completing a Bachelor of Science in Honours Biology at McMaster University, Jaskiran minored in Environmental Sciences and was introduced to biomimicry. This concept and others spiked her interest in business with questions such as: how can we better our world by mimicking, rather than abusing nature? As an MBA student, Jaskiran is passionate about how businesses can better sustain a triple bottom line and is using her DMI platform to provide students with exciting opportunities to engage with the community to drive social change. Giving back to the community is something that Jaskiran strongly believes in and the mission, values, and strategic priorities of the DMI reflect what is essential for young people today – coupling success with stewardship.
